Sun Squad Collection event Newcastle, Fuse, and Loba don their new combat-ready swimwear.
Apex Legends' new Sun Squad Collection Event is now live, introducing a new limited-time mode, some interesting nerfs & buffs, and most importantly, a new cosmetic collection with a beachy flair. But new skins aren't the only party favor available: Ash's new Strongest Link Heirloom Set is available to all players who purchase the full cosmetic collection. Swimwear-themed legend skins have been a hot topic among Apex players ever since the legends washed ashore on the colorful island of Storm Point in Season 11. Many of these players are finally getting their wish, but it's worth noting that the Sun Squad Collection Event cosmetics still adhere to Apex's "T for teen" ESRB rating. Some cosmetics show a little more skin than normal, but all legend skins are combat-ready, so anyone hoping to see Loba strut around in a bikini are barking up the wrong tree. For players who don't have a lot of Apex Coins to spend, the event also offers a free reward track. But unlike the two Collection Events that preceded it, this reward track does not contain any Thematic Packs to unlock premium Sun Squad cosmetics. Still, the free reward track is definitely worth it, as it contains colorful legend skins, two Legendary-tier weapon skins, and a Common-tier Apex Pack, so players will want to start grinding out event challenges as soon as possible. All items included in the Sun Squad Collection are listed below: Epic-tier items (available for 1,000 Apex Coins or 800 Crafting Metals) - Day At The Office Newcastle banner frame
