Just for the record, this photo of Justin Timberlake and Pharrell Williams in the recording studio together is NOT a #ThrowbackThursday pic from when JT and Pharrell worked on Justified. Nope, it's BRAND-SPANKING NEW. Which could mean only two things: Either the duo are working on new tunes for Justin's 20/20 Experience, Volume 2, orrr they're just using recording equipment as a backdrop for their BFF selfies, which would make them INCREDIBLY CRUEL human beings for getting our hopes up.

The "Number 1" singer shared his photo with JT on Instagram along with the caption "Me and my boy Justin. @jtimberlake." Pharrell has been DOMINATING in the collabo department lately, working with everyone from Daft Punk ("Get Lucky") to 2 Chainz ("Feds Watching") to Miley Cyrus', and has even dropped his own new song, "Happy," for the "Despicable Me" soundtrack. But there's just something about this JT/Pharrell partnership duo that is unBEATable (yup, we just went there). I mean, we ARE talking about the pair that created the sexy, get-your-flirt-on jam "Senorita"! (Sigh, we love recalling historic love "poetry" from 2002.)
