Ariana Grande is breezier than ever in "You'll Never Know."
If you thought for a second that Ariana Grande, the post-millennial Mariah Carey, IRL angel, and sparkle-dress-wearing mom-hugger, wasn't gonna crush her VMA red carpet pre-show performance at last Sunday's 2013 VMAs, then you're about to feel REALLY embarrassed.
Just days after her unreal VMA performance (octaves for days, kids!), Ariana has unleashed a scintillating new track, "You'll Never Know," which is set to appear her forthcoming Yours Truly disc.
Listen to Ariana Grande's "You'll Never Know" after the jump.
Although Ariana's most recent work edges into pop ballad territory (the Nathan Sykes-assisted "Almost Is Never Enough" off The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones soundtrack), the flirtatious "You'll Never Know" has Ariana right back in her signature breezy, sugary pop-R&B wheelhouse (see: earlier tracks like "The Way," "Baby I," and the Big Sean-assisted "Right There").
Set to a sparkling pop beat, "You'll Never Know" features Ariana delivering yet another crazy strong vocal performance as she coos, "You'll never know/ What we could've been."
Anyway, now that we've heard approximately 50 percent of Ariana's debut album, we are approximately 100 percent sure it'll skyrocket to No. 1 when it drops on Sept. 3. In fact, cronuts/ramen burgers are on us if it doesn't!
