True Believers, we’re assembling Earth’s mightiest and littlest heroes this month!
As Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War continues to dominate the box office, Disney Publishing Worldwide is teaming up with Little Free Library and First Book to bring Avengers: Infinity War-themed library stands to select communities across the country beginning to roll out on Saturday, May 12, to celebrate the power of reading through free access to books.
The Little Marvel Library stands will be stocked with books for two years, courtesy of Disney Publishing Worldwide and First Book, and will include a larger showpiece in Los Angeles and the first underground Little Free Library in New York City!
The concept to create these brand-new themed libraries is to support Disney’s love of storytelling and to provide inspiration and opportunity to kids and families. The libraries will be set up in select areas across the United States, maintained by Little Free Library community stewards, and regularly stocked with books for two years.
Featured titles in the libraries will include Avenger’s: Infinity War titles such as The Heroes’ Journey (Road to Avengers: Infinity War), The Cosmic Quest Vol. 1, along with many other epic stories. Visitors to Avengers: Infinity War-themed Little Free Libraries, or any neighborhood Little Free Library, are also welcome to donate their own books. You can learn more about The Comic Quest Vol. 1 with author Brandon T. Snider here.
