EA and DICE's Battlefield 2042 is now free on PC through Steam, but only for a limited time. Everyone on Steam can download and play the military shooter for free until March 16, EA has announced. It's a good time to jump in, too, as Season 4: Eleventh Hour was just released. It adds a new map and specialist, as well as a variety of updates and improvements. Newcomers can also check out the new class system, which aims to make the experience "more structured and understandable." The four traditional classes from past games--Assault, Recon, Support, and Engineer--are now back in the game. Steam players can get Battlefield 2042 for free here on Steam.
