Why yes, this is "Bootylicious" Beyoncé staring down "Grown Woman" Beyoncé.
Nothing satisfies us more than a hearty, Beyoncé-filled week, and this one has pro-VIDED. First, we had a cute overload while checking out baby Blue Ivy's "Mrs. Carter Show World Tour" chair, followed by what is surely the best six seconds of our adult life in the Queen's #BeyHereNow video preview. Now, add that to Beyoncé's just-released Pepsi promo, which features our girl twerking it with three past versions of herself AND includes a snippet of her BRAND-NEW SONG, "Grown Woman," and we're in a permanent state of bliss that will last for at least another 72 hours.
Watch Beyoncé’s new Pepsi commercial after the jump.
It's been 10 years, but we still don't think we're ready for Beyoncé's jelly.
In the minute-long Jake Nava clip, a perfectly toned Beyoncé (not even sure how anyone gets their arms so long and lean) takes a quick break from rehearsing for an ice-cold hit of Pepsi. After getting her soda fix, Bey looks into a magical mirror that reflects all the other various Beyoncé incarnations from her career. In other words, Beyoncé re-meets "Bootylicious" Beyoncé, "Single Ladies" Beyoncé, AND "Crazy In Love" Beyoncé! She dances, the other Beyoncés dance, and it's basically the most perfect Beyoncé retrospective outside of the one we will likely watch in 30 years when the Grammys bestow her with the "Most Important Person Ever In The Music Industry" award.
As if watching current Beyoncé dancing with herself isn't special enough, the Pepsi ad also features a preview of Bey's new track, "Grown Woman" -- and it's DAMN GOOD. Rumored to have been produced by Timbaland (that bro is getting around these days), "Grown Woman" is rooted by a Bhangra-esque beat, which seems fitting given Beyoncé's fierce lyrics: "I walk with a vengeance/ I'm a grown woman." YEAH YOU ARE. It's all Beyoncé everything, which leads us to our next and final point: "BOW DOWN."
We NEVER stopped being "Crazy In Love" with you, B!
We welcome ANY invitation to relive Beyoncé in "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)."
