NEW YORK, NY, February 11, 2019 — Tenacious Toys is teaming up with FU-Stamps to release the second edition of their Bodega Blade resin figure: the Dead Presidents Edition.

Limited to just 20 pieces, this super-rare variant is the follow-up to the original “Beef N Broccoli” colorway. Bodega Blade is a new, original character designed, developed and produced by Bronx native Rios Palante as an indy resin art toy line.

Dega is the tactful leader of the FU-Crew, a gang of rambunctious teens obsessed with martial arts while fighting to keep punk ass scum off their block.

Dega’s name comes from the word Bodega, but the name “Dega” was originally created during a time of ridicule. As a youngin,’ Dega was often seen helping his grandfather maintain his South Bronx bodega, and as a result, many kids around the block made fun of him for it. When many of his peers chose to dip in the life of gangsters, Dega opted to read, and practice his fighting techniques. Now as a respected teen, Dega practically runs his “welo’s” bodega, while the rest of the FU-Crew lounge downstairs in their sanctuary. Dega’s weapon of choice is what he calls the “Truth Teller.” Dega has labeled his sword with this name after witnessing how ‘tough guys’ had revealed their true self in its presence.

The Bodega Blade resin figure stands 7 inches tall and features highly detailed and precise paint and sculpting. Dega conceals a sword in his parka’s inner pocket, a separate accessory which can be displayed in the pocket or in Dega’s hand. Bodega Blade resins are $120 each.

The Dead Presidents edition of Bodega Blade will be released on Friday February 15th at noon EST on the Tenacious Toy homepage.
