Along with Best Kiss, Tatum is also up for three other prizes at the MTV Movie Awards, airing live this Sunday on MTV.

Channing Tatum's smooch with Rachel McAdams in "The Vow" was certainly steamy enough to earn itself a coveted Best Kiss nomination at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards. But Tatum thinks that another couple has it in the bag come Sunday, when the show goes live from Los Angeles.
"It doesn't matter. The 'Twilight' kids always sweep it," he told MTV News on Thursday night when he sat down for the "Magic Mike" MTV Sneak Peek Week event. "They sweep it every time."
Well, not only do they have competition in Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, but also Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone ("Crazy, Stupid, Love"), Rupert Grint and Emma Watson ("Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2"), and Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson ("The Hunger Games").
Whether or not he takes home the Golden Popcorn for Best Kiss, McAdams already has her own trophy for her sexy and memorable on-screen makeout with Ryan Gosling in "The Notebook" from way back in 2005. "Aww, that's not fair; they have rain," Tatum said of that kiss. "Everything's better in the rain, I definitely will take a second, backseat to Ryan [Gosling]."
Tatum is also up for Best Male Performance in "The Vow," Best Fight for his tussle alongside Jonah Hill in "21 Jump Street" and Best Hero for his role as Jenko in the movie.
To see which prize Tatum takes home, check out the 2012 MTV Movie Awards this Sunday. Russell Brand is hosting and there will be performances by Fun., the Black Keys, Martin Solveig and Wiz Khalifa. It all goes down from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California at 9 p.m. ET.
