Britney Spears shows off her latest alias: "brunette shopping in L.A."

Maybe we've been watching too many "Alias" reruns (damn you, Netflix!!), but is anyone else getting a whole Sydney Bristow/incognito vibe from Britney Spears lately? First, she debuted her new brunette look at Elton John's Oscar viewing party (HELLO, Sydney's hair color!), and she's been playing around with different accents (like that British sing-speak thing she does in "Scream & Shout"). Maybe Britney's posing as a SUPER FAMOUS pop star mom to cover up her double life in the FBI/CIA? Orrr maybe she's still reacting to her breakup with ex-fiancé Jason Trawick? Either way, Brit wins. End of story. (Even if we're partial to our secret agent story.)

The "Criminal" singer was snapped working her new brunette look while shopping in Los Angeles. Can we just say how much we love that Brit's embracing her new single life?? First, she gets a cute new puppy, then a the new hair 'do, and now she's even got a promising new album in the works! But most importantly, without a boyfriend, Brit has wayyy more time to do all her secret agent stuff. (Sorry guys, not gonna let this alias thing go anytime soon.)
