Green Day plans a trilogy of albums to be released between September 2012 and January 2013.

+ Green Day has been prolific of late. The band announced they will release three consecutive albums -- ¡Uno!, ¡Dos! and ¡Tré! -- all between September 2012 and January 2013. The first, ¡Uno!, is set to drop Sept. 25. "This is the best music we've ever written, and the songs just keep coming," the group said in a statement. (MTV News)

+ Axl Rose has refused his induction as a member of Guns N' Roses in the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame, writing on Facebook, "I strongly request that I not be inducted in absentia and please know that no one is authorized, nor may anyone be permitted, to accept my induction or speak on my behalf."
