Buzz Bites (9/27/12): Pink Scores Her First No. 1 Album With ‘The Truth About Love’

+ Congrats to Pink, who earned her first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with The Truth About Love. She had stiff competition, topping Kanye West/G.O.O.D. Music's Cruel Summer (No. 2), and The KillersBattle Born (No. 3). (Billboard)

Christina Aguilera opened up to MTV News about her forthcoming Lotus album. "I wanted to make a record that speaks to those fans who grew up listening to my music and yet reintroduce new fans... watching me on 'The Voice' at 6 years old who don't know about my first record," she said. "This is a really exciting time to show them both sides." (MTV News)

+ Speaking of Jennifer Hudson, she, Usher, and R. Kelly are slated to perform during a Whitney Houston tribute concert. The show tapes on Oct. 11 from L.A.'s Nokia Theater, and the set will air on CBS in November. (Idolator)
