Infinity Ward is leading the development on this year's Call of Duty game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. After 2021's Call of Duty: Vanguard failed to reach Activision's sales targets, expectations are high for the sequel to the 2019 series reboot. Activision calls Modern Warfare 2 the start of a "new era" for Call of Duty, and we've already seen plenty of campaign footage and a full multiplayer reveal.
