Watch a behind-the-scenes video of Mayday Parade prepping their upcoming album!
After releasing their self-titled 2011 album independently, Mayday Parade are in the studio again working on the follow-up, this time back in the Fearless Records fold. Although the album won't be out until the fall, aka roughly forever months from now, the quintet from Tallahassee, Fla., have been keeping track of the recording process at Tree Sound Studios, in Norcross, Ga., and have just released a behind-the-scenes video of them banging out a few upcoming tracks (complete with a peek at the album's track list!), which you can watch for the first time today.

Led by drummer Jake Bundrick, Mayday's video captures an up-close look at the recording (nerd moment: They use analog!), mixing, and producing process. So what do we learn about the recording process? Being in a rock band is so much fun, right!? Well, sure, but it's also a lot of long tedious days in the studio, micing drums, doing multiple takes, and making sure everything comes out just right. It's like we're invited right into the studio! Don't touch anything, though. It's all pretty expensive equipment.
Catch Mayday Parade on their "Spring Fever" tour starting April 11 with Pierce The Veil, All Time Low, and You Me At Six.
