From Reddit user OkieCoder comes this image of an absolutely epic Halo cross-stitch depicting series hero Master Chief wielding a rocket launcher and looking like his normal badass self.

"5 months, 51,900 stitches, and ~792 glasses of wine later--Master Chief cross-stitch," wrote OkieCoder, whose wife made the creation for her 9-year-old brother. Bravo!

OkieCoder also confirmed that the Halo cross-stitch is 12 x 16, featuring 25 colors and with 16 stitches per inch.

The next Halo game to be released is Halo: Spartan Strike. It was due to launch in 2014, but issues with The Master Chief Collection led developer 343 Industries to delay it to early 2015. Looking beyond that, Microsoft will release Halo 5: Guardians this fall on Xbox One.
