Welcome to Buzzworthy's "The Week In Pop," where we round up new album releases, talk show musical guests and TV performances by your favorite pop stars and more (so you don't have to.)

Happy Birthday Week, America! As you prep for midsummer BBQs and spectacular fireworks displays (go BIG guys, but remember, safety first!), soundtrack the holiday fun with some new tunes. On Tuesday, Chris Brown releases his fifth album and Flo Rida drops his fourth record. Also revisit American Idol's Season 11 with Top 10 song highlights. Meanwhile ASIA -- the dudes who made the classic rock ballad charter "Heat of the Moment" and possibly inspired countless future birthdays, maybe even ours -- warm things up further with XXX (get your mind out of the gutter, people! That's Roman numeral talk for 30 years). And if there's not enough to celebrate already -- USA! USA! USA! -- Katy Perry's "Part Of Me" 3D film hits theaters on Thursday.

NEW ALBUM RELEASES

Tuesday, July 3

+ Chris Brown, Fortune: Lately he's been making more news from controversy (from the recent reported scuffle with Drake to the Rihanna remix to Twitter beefs and feuds) than for his music, but we'll guess Team Breezy's happy to put the focus on a new album. On the 14-song set he teams up with Big Sean and Wiz Khalifa for "Till I Die," and "Mirage" features Nas. The Deluxe Edition includes five additional tunes.

+ Flo RidaWild Ones: On his new record the Miami rapper's trading some sugar with Jennifer Lopez on "Sweet Spot," which is about candy...or not  (double entendre much? Also see "Whistle"). He also asks comic Keith Apicary to hilariously dance in the video for "Let It Roll," enlists Sia for an awesome chorus assist on "Wild Ones" and pairs with LMFAO's RedFoo on the club-ready "Run."

+ Various Artists American Idol Season 11 Top 10 Highlights: Relive American Idol's Season 11 with songs covered by several of the contestants. Joshua Ledet takes on James Brown's "It's A Man's Man's Man's World," runner-up Jessica Sanchez sings Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You," and check out Season 11 winner Phillip Phillips' rendition of Damien Rice's "Volcano."

Check out more new album releases and upcoming TV appearances and performances after the jump.

+ ASIAXXX: Composed of prog rock titans from Yes, King Crimson, Emerson Lake & Palmer and Uriah Heap, these guys stormed the world with the best selling album of 1982. Thirty years after that chart-topping debut, the British group returns with the aptly named XXX. Their single "Face On The Bridge" is vintage ASIA, which is to say classic classic rock.

+ Tha Dogg PoundDoggy Bag: Despite having only released one studio album (until now) on Death Row Records, the duo were a big part of the label's fabric. Kurupt and Dat N---- Daz guested on Dr. Dre's groundbreaking The Chronic and Snoop Dogg's solo debut, their self-titled debut hit #1 on the charts and solo projects ensued. Almost two decades later they return with Doggy Bag. Check out "Big Pimpin" featuring Snoop Dogg and Snoop also assists with the late Nate Dogg on "Every Single Day."
