Amazon's new holiday movie Red One has apparently added Captain America actor Chris Evans to its cast. Deadline reports that Evans will appear in a starring role in the film alongside Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

Filming is expected to begin this year, and it's described as a "globe-trotting, four-quadrant action-adventure comedy," but specific plot details are unknown.

Jake Kasdan, who directed the new Jumanji films, is directing Red One from a script by Chris Morgan. Morgan previously worked on the writing team for Hobbs and Shaw and The Fate of the Furious.
