Microsoft unveils red, blue, and silver $55 wireless controllers with transforming D-pads; to ship in Mid-may with color availability varying by region.
In need of a new Xbox 360 controller? Next month, Microsoft will begin selling new "Chrome" wireless controllers in blue, red, and silver, Xbox Live director of programming Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb announced today.
Due out in mid-May, the Xbox 360 controllers also feature the new transforming D-pad control input, which was introduced in November 2011.
The controllers will sell for the standard $55, and color availability will vary by region. Gamers can contact their local retailers for specifics on the colors offered.
