In celebration of the 4oth anniversary of Ghostbusters, the City of Los Angeles today set forth a proclamation for an official Ghostbusters Day to be celebrated in the city. Jason Reitman (director of Ghostbusters: Afterlife and son of original Ghostbusters director Ivan) was on hand to receive the honor along with the Los Angeles Ghostbusters, the Starlight Foundation, and several other Ghostbusters fans in order to support the momentous occasion.
The event was also used to promote the Starlight Foundation’s recent Ghostbuster initiative to get GB themed hospital gowns for children in order to brighten their stays at hospitals all over the country. An effort that was supported/championed by the ever charitable LA Ghostbusters franchise. Information about the Starlight Foundation or if you’re interested in donating then head here.
