Cobra Kai is easily the best show on YouTube Premium. In fact, its second season was one of the best shows of 2019, in our estimation. But Season 3 of YouTube Premium's Cobra Kai has yet to premiere, and now the show has run into a new obstacle. According to a new report, when the next chapter in the Karate Kid sequel series is finally released, it will likely be on a different streaming service. Deadline is reporting that Sony TV has shopped the already-completed third season around. That came to pass when YouTube reportedly told Sony it would air Season 3, but would not be ordering future seasons. While it's believed that all of the streaming services approached were interested, it has come down to Netflix and Hulu as potential homes for the series. This news comes as YouTube continues shying away from premium original programming. Cobra Kai remains one of only two scripted original series on the service.
