Welcome to Buzzworthy's "The Week In Pop," where we round up new album releases, talk show musical guests, TV performances by your favorite pop stars, and more (so you don't have to).

This week, Cody Simpson releases his second album, Surfers Paradise. Catch him tomorrow on "Live With Kelly And Michael." Also, Mayer Hawthorne drops his third album, Where Does This Door Go; watch him on Tuesday's "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon." Meanwhile, Sara Bareilles works through fears on The Blessed Unrest (she's on Wednesday's "Live With Kelly And Michael" and Friday's "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon"), San Cisco make their eponymous debut (check out their "10 Things I'm Obsessed With" Buzzworthy chat), and Pet Shop Boys' bumping 12th album, Electric, also drops. On TV, "Full House" fans may be stoked to hear that Uncle Jesse's (aka John Stamos) Jesse And The Rippers (!!) perform on Friday's "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon," and on Friday morning, Fall Out Boy kick the weekend off on "Today."

NEW ALBUM RELEASES

+ Cody Simpson, Surfers Paradise: It's easy to see why teen pop star Cody Simpson's tween/teen fanbase is growing. Adorbz Aussie accent? Check. Swoony crushout songs? Check. A swagged-out tour bus stocked with cupcakes? Mmm, check! The 16-year-old recently cut his tour short to schedule dates opening for his friend and pseudo doppelgänger Justin Bieber's North American tour, beginning July 20 in Boston. And Cody's armed with eight new tunes from Surfers Paradise to warm up concertgoers. Watch the video for the sun-kissed and flirty "Pretty Brown Eyes." Album guests include Asher Roth ("Imma Be Cool") and Ziggy Marley ("Love"). Stream Surfers Paradise in its entirety via Cody Simpson's website before it drops tomorrow.

+ Mayer Hawthorne, Where Does This Door Go: For soul-pop singer-songwriter Mayer Hawthorne's third effort, he turns up the smooth -- whether on a quest for love ("All Better') or regretting a romantic misfire ("Corsican Rosé") -- and melds Motown and jazzy undertones with slick modern styles and production. Check out the Pharrell Williams-produced "Reach Out Richard," which is a tribute to Mayer's dad. Also, listen to the sultry grooving NSFW "Crime" featuring Kendrick Lamar, and check out the clever guys-as-actual-dogs (of the canine variety) video, "Her Favorite Song." + Sara Bareilles, The Blessed Unrest: For Sara's third album, she says she was working through some of her greatest fears, confronting and conquering them. "The songs on this album are a true reflection of everything I've come to experience in recent months," she said in a statement. That sense of empowerment is acutely felt on her inspiring "Brave" video. Co-written by fun.'s Jack Antonoff, "Brave" was partly inspired by Sarah's friend, who grappled with coming out. Also check out the equally uplifting "Chasing The Sun," the aching piano ballad "Manhattan," and the atmospheric "Satellite Call."

+ San Cisco, San Cisco: The 18-to-20-year-old quartet from Australia first made waves with their dancey, rollicking "Fred Astaire," which appeared on their Awkward EP released in March. The song is also the lead single for their new 13-song, full-length debut album. Also check out the male-female vocal interplay between lead singer Jordi Davieson and drummer/singer Scarlett Stevens in their cute text-sung "Awkward" video. The Aussie crew is as creative with other act's songs as well: They recently covered Daft Punk's "Get Lucky" featuring Pharrell Williams and merged it with Pharrell/N.E.R.D.'s "Hypnotize U."

+ Pet Shop Boys, Electric: '80s electro dance-pop pioneers Pet Shop Boys picked an apt name for their 12th (!!) studio album, and its electric club jams sound as fresh as ever. Get your groove on to the duo's "Thursday" featuring rapper Example and the euphoric synth-pop gem "Love Is A Bourgeois Construct." Also check out their cover of Bruce Springsteen's anti-war song, "The Last To Die," which gets an atmospheric, poignant treatment.
