Congrats to MGK for winning MTV2's exclusive EMA! You've earned it!

MGK is a HARDWORKING rapper. When you're kicking it with dudes like Diddy and Waka Flocka Flame on the regs and are up against 2 Chainz, A$AP Rocky, Mac Miller, Big Sean, and Tyga for the "U.S. Artist About To Go Global" award at the 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards, you know you're doing something right. And that's exactly why we're so psyched about MGK's big win! 'Cause nabbing that particular EMA is a MAJOR testament to his grind. As a Buzzworthy fave and PUSH alum (we're still using his Grilled Cheese afterschool snack recipe), we wanted to extend EVEN MORE props over to our main man, MGK.

Although MGK was not in Frankfurt for the EMA, he was way hype with the win. (Wouldn't you be? This award basically means you're about to take over the world with your awesomeness!!) In his acceptance video, the "Stereo" rapper gave all the credit for this to his fans saying, "This has nothing to do with me. This is strictly for those fans out there that believe in a kid like me." We love the modesty, but we think you had something to do with it. You can stunt a little, dude -- it's a GLOBAL award! Congrats, MGK!!!
