Cryptozoic’s CZX super premium trading card release features thick, glossy cards with gold Deco Foil and memorable images from movies starring DC’s characters, spanning from 2005’s Batman Begins to the recent Aquaman and Shazam! The unprecedented list of Autograph Card signers is led by stars Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, and Jason Momoa as Aquaman, who each signed multiple versions of their cards. Moreover, CZX Super Heroes & Super-Villains includes a 54-card Base Set, two Chase Sets, and randomly inserted one-of-a-kind, hand-drawn Artist Sketch Cards.
“CZX Super Heroes & Super-Villains has been in the works for a while and we’re absolutely thrilled to see it finally make its way into the hands of collectors,” said Jamie Kiskis, VP of Marketing & Product Development at Cryptozoic. “The CZX brand is about giving fans products that are super premium, so we pulled out all the stops to get autographs from superstars like Gal Gadot, Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, and Jason Momoa, and to have artists deliver some of the most breathtaking Sketch Cards we have ever seen. Our team has worked extremely hard on every aspect of the release to make it the highest quality trading card product ever created based on DC’s films.”
In addition to Gadot, Affleck, Cavill, Miller, and Momoa, signers of Autograph Cards for the set include Jack Dylan Grazer as Freddy Freeman (Shazam!), Nestor Carbonell as Mayor of Gotham City (The Dark Knight), Eugene Brave Rock as the Chief (Wonder Woman), and Ayelet Zurer as Lara Lor-Van (Man of Steel).
The Sketch Cards by some of today’s hottest artists present detailed, one-of-a-kind drawings of favorite DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains from the movies.
Film Cel, the first Chase Set, features cards created to resemble actual film cels from various DC movies. These cels are printed on PETG acetate, inserted into the card, and visible through a swatch display window.
CZX STR PWR, the second Chase Set, showcases characters from various DC movies on rare, high-quality cards printed on foil board.
Finally, the Base Set for the release includes a variety of stunning images from Aquaman, Justice League, Wonder Woman, Suicide Squad, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Man of Steel, The Dark Knight Rises, The Dark Knight, and Batman Begins.
CZX Super Heroes & Super-Villains will be available at retailers nationwide on November 22.
