“You know NOTHING Jon Snow!” – Everyone on Game of Thrones
Today we continue to take a look at the first wave of Dark Horse Comics 7″ Game of Thrones figures based on the characters in the HBO series. Yesterday we looked at Daeneryes Targereyn, and today we look at the bastard son of Ned Stark, one of the Night’s Watch – Jon Snow.
A core item in the Dark Horse Game of Thrones program is an ongoing series of high-quality, affordable, molded plastic figures of the most-asked-for characters.
Jon Snow, a warrior leader of the Night’s Watch, faces the dangers from beyond The Wall.
The figures are 7.5 “ tall and are non-articulated plastic statues. They look like they might have some articulation in the package, but they do not. Jon Snow is attached to his base, and his sword blade is packed separately in the box. These figures are packaged in a full-color window box.
If you are looking for an articulated action figure then Funko’s Legacy GOT figures will be more your speed. But if you are looking for a nice line of reasonably priced 7-8″ figures in iconic scenes and poses from the series then this is the line for you.
Jon Snow is another great sculpt with a lot of detail in both the figure and the paint. It’s difficult to make a figure wearing mostly black that interesting, but they brought out the subtle color differences and made nice use of all the all the textures on the costume as well as some great weathering from being in the snow. Winter is coming after all.
