The “Merc with a Mouth” debuts as an exclusive in the October PREVIEWS Catalog

(BALTIMORE, MD) – (October 16, 2014)- Kotobukiya’s Marvel ARTFX+ expands its line of statues with the Deadpool X-Force sculpture featuring the deadly assassin in his black and gray Deadpool X-Force costume. The “Merc with a Mouth” is set to release in comic book specialty shops in late May 2015 but is available for fans to pre-order to secure its arrival to their local comic shop.

Featured in his mutant black ops team costume, the former member of the Weapon X program, Deadpool X-Force (Item Code: JUL148029, SRP: $59.99, page 478) is a must-have for any Deadpool fan and collector to add to their collection. This time Deadpool ditches his iconic red and black costume for the black and gray Deadpool X-Force variant that still features the same abundance of straps, pouches, extra ammunition, spare weapons, pointy hood with mask, and of course his iconic Deadpool logo belt buckle.  Sculpted by Junnosuke Abe, the same master craftsman behind the Marvel Now Avengers series, X-Force member Deadpool stands 6 inches tall (1/10th scale) in his deep crouch with perfect stability on his included magnetic display base. The assassin leans forward with one hand extended in front of him while the other draws one of his swords from the sheaths on his back. The figure contains interchangeable left hands that either give a thumb up or wield a second sword, making this statue even more fun to showcase for collectors.

The Deadpool statue is a great collectible on its own, but looks fantastic alongside the Avengers and other upcoming Marvel ARTFX+ statues from Kotobukiya featured in PREVIEWS.
