It’s all come down to this.
In DEADPOOL #6, coming in March, the Merc With the Mouth finally faces off against the President With the Mouth Full of Wood Teeth, George Washington. To handicap this fight, we recruited now veteran fight announcers—and the writing team behind the book—Brian “Primaries” Posehn and Gerry “Democracy” Duggan:
Nickname
Gerry Duggan: “President Evil. The Mount Vernon Mauler.”
Catchphrase
Brian Posehn: “His catchphrase is ‘I can not tell a lie, I’ll kill Deadpool in two rounds.’”
Strengths
Gerry Duggan: “Washington was a big, tall guy. He’s got size and speed.”
Weaknesses
Gerry Duggan: “I would say those hurtful wooden teeth.”
What baggage does Washington bring to this fight? What’s his history, and what should we be looking for?
Gerry Duggan: “Washington is one of the bigger threats. Taft is like their Hulk but he’s in the sixth issue and I don’t know if he’s worth talking about. He gets stuck in the bathtub.”
What’s Deadpool got to do to win? What's his ideal strategy here, and what's going to hold him back?
Brian Posehn: “Is everyone forgetting Deadpool kills dudes all the time? What about his katanas and guns?”
Odds of Winning
Brian Posehn: “Pretty good, the book is called DEADPOOL, not Dead George Washington.”
