Today, Diamond Distributors, via their Toy Chest page, released their annual list of the top 50 selling/ordered toys in the Direct Market for 2014. So you know that that means… SPREADSHEETS!!!!
The greatest heroes of the DC Universe come together in DC Collectibles’ The New 52: Justice League Action Figure 7-Pack Boxed Set, the best-selling toy product to specialty retailers in 2014.
In total, DC Collectibles had five of the year’s top 10 best-selling products. Also in the top ten were the Scribblenauts Unmasked Mini-Figures Series 1 at #3, the Scribblenauts Unmasked Mini-Figures Series 2 at #4, the DC Comics Bombshells: Harley Quinn Statue at #7, and the Batman: Hush: Batman & Catwoman Kiss Statue at #9.
Diamond Select Toys’ Marvel Select: Deadpool Action Figure ranked #2.
Good Smile’s Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword: Link Figma Action Figure ranked #5.
McFarlane Toys’ The Walking Dead Series 5 Action Figures, based on the hit AMC television series inspired by the best-selling Robert Kirkman comic book series from Image Comics, ranked #8.

Data for Diamond’s sales charts — which includes the monthly market shares and all top product charts — are compiled by Diamond Comic Distributors from sales made to thousands of comic book specialty shops located in North America and around the world.
Unit and dollar market shares are calculated based upon orders for comic books, graphic novels, and magazines invoiced and shipped to Diamond customers during any given month, which comprises pre-orders, advance reorders, and reorders, minus any copies that are received back from a title marked as returnable. Please note that comics marked with an asterisk (*) have had their reported quantities reduced due to retailer returnability, and thus may rank lower on the charts than their actual sales would reflect.
