New version to feature achievements, cloud saves, and cheat option to boost character stats.
Square Enix has announced that the PC version of Final Fantasy VII will be up for download in the near future.
New features added in this version of the game include up to 36 achievements for players to unlock and cloud saving. Players can also use a character booster option that lets them go through a tough area or boss fight by boosting every party member's hit points and mana points to its maximum.
The release date and price of this version has yet to be announced. In other recent news, Square Enix CEO Yoichi Wada said that the company will only develop a Final Fantasy VII remake if the next numbered installment can top the original Final Fantasy VII in terms of quality and sales.
