Developer and publisher ZA/UM has announced that its critically acclaimed RPG Disco Elysium is getting a television adaptation. According to Variety, ZA/UM partnered with production company dj2 Entertainment to create the series. Dj2 founder Dmitri M. Johnson was a co-producer on Paramount Pictures' Sonic the Hedgehog live-action film. A network, release window, or writer has yet to be confirmed for Disco Elysium's TV adaptation. "We're so gratified at the response Disco Elysium has received, and very happy to be teaming with dj2 to expand the franchise for other media and new audiences," ZA/UM's lead writer Helen Hindpere said.
