This week the producing team of Alan Fine, Dan Buckley, Joe Quesada and Jeph Loeb began announcing the cast for the upcoming ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ animated series that will debut on DisneyXD later this year.  The animated series was originally announced last year at NYCC.

The cast members announced so far are:

Star Lord -Will Friedle voices Star-Lord in the upcoming animated series “Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy” on Disney XD.

Gamora – Vanessa Marshall voices Gamora in the upcoming animated series “Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy” on Disney XD.

GROOT – Kevin Michael Richardson voice guest stars as Groot in the upcoming animated series “Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy” on Disney XD.
