Actor Dwayne Johnson has revealed in a new interview that he has pitched a Hobbs & Shaw sequel that will be the "antithesis of what Fast and Furious movies generally are." Johnson's comments in an interview to SiriusXM (and transcribed by Collider) have less to do with his now rear-view feud with star Vin Diesel, and are more about a desire to break away from the several sequels associated with Fast films. "When it comes to Hobbs & Shaw… there's an idea that I had," said Johnson. "I pitched it [to the creative team and Universal Studios], and they all loved it… without giving it away, you watch a man walk off into the sunset." Johnson didn't go into plot details, but said with the Hobbs franchise there's an "opportunity" to "go against the grain and disrupt things a little bit."
