Arch Manning is not only a quarterback with the Texas Longhorns, but a family member of football royalty. His uncles are Peyton and Eli Manning. But the college athlete with one of the highest-profile names in the business reportedly won't sign on to a deal to appear in EA Sports College Football 25. This comes just after the upcoming game's official account on X (formerly known as Twitter) revealed that more than 10,000 athletes have agreed to terms.

A football writer for Rivals covering the University of Texas at Austin reported that Arch Manning wouldn't sign a name, image, and likeness (NIL) agreement with EA Sports College Football 25. Anwar Richardson posted on X that the quarterback instead is "focused on playing football on the field."

Last month, word was out that EA Sports College Football 25 was offering athletes $600 and a copy of the game in the NIL offer. Additionally, a report stated EA was also looking at paying certain high-profile players more to become ambassadors for the title, along with promoting it on their social media channels. Apparently the deal went out to roughly 11,000 people, meaning EA was willing to pony up over $6 million for NIL. That means EA Sports College Football 25 has already hit over 90% of players to be in the game.
