- The order of the original trilogy holds true based on eBay sales; “A New Hope” takes first place with 20% more sales than “The Empire Strikes Back” and 36% more sales than the “Return of the Jedi.”
- Beloved “The Empire Strikes Back” characters like Boba Fett inspired some of the most rare and expensive sales of all-time, including a 1979 Star Wars Vintage Prototype Boba Fett Rocket Firing L-Slot AFA 90 which sold for $145,000.
- Of the top 3 most popular Star Wars action figure characters on eBay, Sith Lord Darth Vader dominates his son, Jedi Master Luke Skywalker by more than 70%; even Bounty Hunter Boba Fett is more popular than the young Skywalker by nearly 13%.
