These PC requirements aren't too taxing, but like with most From Software games, you're going to want to make certain that Shadow of the Erdtree runs as smoothly as possible. You can't dodge a telegraphed attack if the game sputters worse than a poorly maintained Mazda Miata. You'll also need to clear some space on your PC, and considering just how dense the lore of Elden Ring is, this isn't too surprising.

Even if you're not planning to grab Shadow of the Erdtree, the day-one patch for the expansion will add several new features to the base game. Bug fixes, balance adjustments, five new hairstyles, and an improved inventory system will be added for all players, amongst several other upgrades to the core experience.
