The Minecraft 1.19 update, has arrived and is officially released on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile. Dubbed The Wild update, players will be able to explore the new Deep Dark and Mangrove biomes and meet The Warden, Allays, and even frogs. Within the new biomes, there are plenty of places to explore like Ancient Cities in the Deep Dark and the swamp in the Mangrove biome. Further, while exploring the Deep Dark, you'll need to be careful not to summon The Warden. If you'd prefer something less scary, head over to the Mangrove biome to find some tadpoles and frogs. While you're running around between biomes, be sure to keep an eye out for Allays, they're friendly creatures that will help you track down various items. Additionally, players will also find new items in these biomes like Froglights, which emit bright lights and can be used as decorations. Players can also find Mangrove Trees, Mud, Sculk, and boats with chests. These are just a few of the new items that players will get to experience in The Wild update. The Deep Dark is one of two new biomes in the Minecraft 1.19 update. It can only be found deep underground and is home to one of the new mobs, The Warden. If summoned, players will be given the Darkness effect, which limits player's vision Inside the dark depths, players will find Sculk Blocks, Sculk Veins, Sculk Shriekers, Sculk Sensors, and Sculk Catalysts. The Deep Dark biome is also the only place that Ancient Cities can spawn. Ancient Cities
Ancient Cities can only be found in the Deep Dark biome and contain chests filled with rare items. Just be sure to watch out for the Sculk Sensors so that you don't summon The Warden! The Warden
The Warden resides in the Deep Dark biome and can be summoned by Sculk Shriekers. This is an aggressive mob that relies on its sense of smell and hearing to locate its enemies. Mangrove Swamp
The Mangrove Swamp is a new biome in The Wild update and is home to a handful of new items. While exploring, players will be able to find new things like Mangrove Trees, Leaves, Logs, Planks, Propagule, Logs, Roots, Moss Carpets, and Propagules. Froglights are a new decorative piece that emits a bright light. There are three different kinds that are all created when a frog eats a Magma Cube. So far, players can get Ochre (Swamp Frog), Pearlescent (Tropical Frog), and Verdant (Snowy Frog) Froglights. Mud
One of the new items in The Wild update is mud, which can be found in the Mangrove Swamp. It can also be made naturally by using a water bottle on dirt. Players can use mud to make Packed Mud, which can be turned into Mud Bricks. Boat with Chest
Perhaps one of the simpler additions in the Minecraft 1.19 update is the boat with chest. It's like a normal boat, but has a chest in it so you can store items while you venture out into the blue oasis. Allay
The third new mob is a flying creature called an Allay. It's a friendly creature that will seek out dropped items for a player of the same type that it was given. It will only stop seeking that item when you take it away from them.
