Barbie publisher reveals partnership with TNT to launch mobile game based on TV show this holiday and console title in late 2014.
Multiple games based on TNT's sci-fi show Falling Skies are in the works.
Barbie: Dreamhouse Party
and Young Justice: Legacy publisher Little Orbit today announced a partnership with TNT to bring the series to iOS this holiday and "multiple consoles" in late 2014.
According to the game's announcement, Falling Skies will "tie directly into the television series" and feature voice work by the show's actors.
Created by DreamWorks Television, in association with TNT Productions and produced by Steven Spielberg, Falling Skies takes place in the aftermath of an alien attack.
The show is written by Robert Rodat, who is best known for his work on Saving Private Ryan and The Patriot. Falling Skies recently completed its third season and averaged 5.4 million viewers.
