Fast X could be a three-parter, according to star and producer Vin Diesel. He said at the movie's red carpet event in Rome today, May 12, that Universal wants Fast X to be a trilogy. It was originally going to be two movies, but why not one more, the studio reportedly asked. "Going into making this movie, the studio asked if this could be a two-parter. After the studio saw Part 1, they said could you make Fast X: The Finale a trilogy? So umm," Diesel said, trailing off. Co-star Michelle Rodriguez added, "It's three acts in any story." Diesel then walked away from the interviewer and said, "I'm gonna get in trouble here." Reality check: Diesel is not going to get in trouble for this.
