Funko is finally making a Pop figure of Black Lightning. This figure is in the costume he wore in season 1 of the show of the same name on the CW. This is fantastic.  One of my long awaited hopes in terms of Funko Pops.  I can get one to add to my growing Arrowverse Pop collection. Maybe.

Its an exclusive. SDCC exclusive. Because SDCC is officially cancelled for this year, that means it will be available in some way we do not know yet. I should be able to get one.  Maybe.

It is limited to 3000 pieces. So maybe I can’t get one.

Killer Frost of the Flash show got a Pop figure that was extremely limited. It is still hard to find.

There is another problem with this. I really wanted a whole assortment based on the show.

This figure of Black Lightning makes the rest of these even less likely. A few years back Funko make a Pop figure of Supergirl to go with her CW show. It was also an exclusive. We never got CW versions of Martian Manhunter or Alex Danvers or Jimmy Olsen as Guardian. No Mon-El or Dreamer or Brainiac 5.  No Reign.  No Superman or Lex Luthor.

Legends Of Tomorrow pieces White Canary, Firestorm, the Atom with Kid Flash and John Constantine.

Arrow and Flash have been visited twice. Legends got a set. Funko, I really hope you will reconsider and both make this Pop figure of Black Lightning more available and give us a whole assortment based on the Black Lightning show. An assortment based on the Supergirl show, now with 5 seasons out would be great too.  I would like more Funko Pops of all of the DC CW shows.
