The Gaming Community Expo (GCX) has added well-known streamer, Benjamin "DrLupo" Lupo, as a board member. The Florida-based event won't have a physical setup this year, but will go ahead with online fundraising and a digital showcase later this summer. A video was released on the official GCX Twitter account earlier this week, narrated by Lupo himself. It confirmed that he would be joining the event's board and working closely with the Rare Drop organizing team on the GCX experience in the future. Lupo acknowledged that while the event would not be going ahead with its in-person element this year, there was still plenty of fundraising to be carried out for the St. Jude Childen's Research Hospital as part of the replacement festivities that had been arranged.
