Hillside, NJ – November 30, 2017 – WizKids is pleased to announce the brand new card game, Yummy World: Party at Picnic Palace, brought to you by Kidrobot and the designer who brought you Sushi Go!, Phil Walker-Harding, is now available in North American game stores.
Set high atop the magical Sprinkle Tree, the Picnic Palace is where food is fun, and fresh baked friendships and adventures meet. The goal is to invite as many food friends as possible and score points based on who you draw. For a 3-4 player game, each person gets 3 invitations (4 for a 2-player game) which they will use to build up points.
The cards are laid out face down in long rows of 9 to 12 cards, depending on the number of players. During each turn, a player can choose one of a variety of actions. One action is a player can flip over cards to reveal which character is underneath. This helps see who is on the board, but sets other players up to score points. Another action is to use one invitation to pick up an entire row of face-up characters. Each character is worth a certain amount of points, so choose wisely. The third action that’s available is using the Pauly Pickle card, which allows a player to take any one card without using an invitation.
Once all players have filled their invitation cards, the points are recorded and a new round begins! Discard all cards that were used, reset the board with new, upside down cards, and begin inviting friends again. After 3 rounds, whoever has the most points wins!
In a world full of fun fancy friendly food, everyone wants to go to the party! Grab some friends, both human and food alike, and go pick up Yummy World: Party at Picnic Palace at your FLGS for $14.99 today!
