New, luxury-themed vehicles and accessories will be available in Grand Theft Auto V's multiplayer mode starting next week, developer Rockstar Games announced on Monday. The items include all manner of over-the-top things such as solid gold airplanes and helicopters, as well as gold-plated guns. "Due to a surge in high-end crime across southern San Andreas, demand for luxury goods and services is at an all-time high," Rockstar says. "Upscale merchants of all kinds are scrambling to fill their inventories to serve the newly wealthy." The new content is coming to GTA Online through the two-part "Ill-Gotten Gains" update. The second installment is due out later this summer, though Rockstar didn't say more about what it might contain. For now, you can check out some of the new items in the image gallery below. GTA V has shipped nearly 52 million copies across all platforms. Though Rockstar has continually updated GTA Online with smaller DLC items, fans are still waiting for the promised single-player DLC.
