Developed by Certain Affinity, third expansion for Microsoft's shooter adds three new maps, 6 vs. 6 playlist.
Microsoft announced today that the third and final map pack for Halo 4 will launch April 8. Developed by Certain Affinity, the Castle expansion adds three new maps and a 6 vs. 6 playlist to 343 Industries' well-received sci-fi shooter.
The new maps within the Castle expansion are Daybreak, Outcast, and Perdition. The content will be available as a free download for those who hold a $25 Halo 4 War Games Map Pass or as an individual download for $10.
The new 6 vs. 6 playlist is called "Castle DLC" and will focus on team play and coordinated objective gameplay, according to Microsoft. Nine new Achievements worth a total of 250 Gamerscore are up for grabs with the Castle map pack.
Previously released Halo 4 DLC includes the Crimson (December) and Majestic (February) map packs. For more on Halo 4, check out GameSpot's review.
