An unexpected Halo Infinite Collector's Edition appeared late last night on Walmart without any warning from publishers. Even so, fans didn't seem to have a problem finding the $170 USD bundle and buying out the stock.
It was by far the most stacked bundle offered for the game to date. As per the Walmart listing, the Halo Infinite Collector's Edition featured a SteelBook case, a set of five patches, a Plasma Pistol bottle opener, an Energy Sword desk lamp, a set of UNSC lanyards, a UNSC I.D. Wallet, a desktop portfolio, an art poster and booklet, and a developer note from 343 Industries. It also included pre-order bonuses like the Zeta Sky Armor Coating, Chosen Emblem and Nameplate, and the exclusive MK50 Sidekick weapon.
Fans only knew about the Halo Infinite Xbox Series X and SteelBook bundles before this unexpected drop. Halo has a history with special editions offering collectibles like statues, patches, and art books, so it's no surprise one eventually came out. However, many didn't expect it to appear without an official announcement. At this time of writing, Microsoft and 343 Industries still haven't acknowledged the Collector Edition's existence.
