A recent trailer for the Halo TV series contained a blink-and-you'll-miss-it shot of a Chevy Tahoe, which doesn't make a lot of sense given the show takes place in the 26th century. But according to showrunner Steven Kane, the SUV is there for a reason, Polygon reports Kane saying (though he is never directly quoted as saying this). Regarding eagle-eyed fans in general, Kane told the site, "It's both frightening and exhilarating to know people care that much." According to Polygon, "each prop" on set was placed with intention, so it's unlikely the Tahoe was there by accident in a Game of Thrones coffee cup-style screw-up. Halo transmedia boss Kiki Wolfkill, who is an executive producer on the show, also reacted to fans noticing the Tahoe. She said it would have been surprising if fans didn't notice it.
