With ComicCon season upon us it’s a great way to get some fun items for your cosplay or collector items for your display! The news doesn’t stop there, Fun.com has recently announced their own premium 1:1 Proton Pack replica that’s themed to the original movie.
Ghostbusters Proton Pack Costume Replica
I’ll keep you posted once that’s available, in the meantime I’ve made a list of a few items I found that interested me that are currently available on both sites. Here are some of the collectibles on Fun.com –
Ghostbusters Plasma Series Neutrona Wand Prop Replica
This awesome prop replica is one of the coolest items that Hasbro has put out ever, I have previously reviewed it here. These were restocked with the orange tip, which is most likely what they have in stock but if you’re lucky you might get the original release that’s more screen accurate but not convention friendly.
Ghostbusters Afterlife Ecto-1 Toy Vehicle
This great Ecto-1 toy was exactly what I wanted all my childhood after my original Ecto was destroyed by me, a mini-Gozer, that was given toys above my age range. I never saw this vehicle in stores so it’s still available at Fun.com in case you missed out too.
Ghostbusters Afterlife Plasma Series Peter Venkman Collectible Figure
Speaking of toys I never saw in the store, this old man Venkman figure was one of the few Afterlife figures I was interested in and I never saw it in any of the many Targets I frequent. I did get most of the figures that were geared more for kids but I gave those to my son. The Plasma Series was very well made and I replaced my Mattel figures with the 1984 themed first wave, hope it continues!
Ghostbusters Glow in the Dark Slimy Logo T-Shirt for Adults
Are you a Ghostbusters fan that enjoys flaunting his fandom but often find yourself in the dark thinking, “Now nobody can see my shirt?” The link above has got you covered fam.
16 oz Ghostbusters Heat Change Coffee Mug
Heat change mugs are the color change Barbies for adults. This mug forms the Ghostbusters symbol entrapping Mr. No-Ghost in his perpetual red prison, at least until the coffee cools down. Yes, have some!
Moving on, here are a few items from HalloweenCostumes.com, never too early to get a jump on spooky season –
Women’s Ghostbusters Zuul Costume
There is no Dana, only this really cool Zuul costume.
Ghostbusters Adult Stay Puft Costume
Every year I see this costume recommended to me but it’s only for babies. Now I can be as cute as a baby, just 10 times bigger. Dressing as the Traveler will definitely make you a hit at any 80’s themed party, even if it’s the 1880’s since the sailor costume is timeless.
Ghostbusters Jumpsuit Pet Costume
I dressed my dog up as a Ghostbuster once and it definitely wasn’t as cute as this little fella. Plus it’s fun to have a friend to help fill out your team that won’t call dibs on Venkman. My son has had us dress up as different themes every Halloween and we already did Ghostbusters a few years ago but if he ever circles back I need this for my furry friend. Which I’m sure he’ll love.
Ghostbusters Slimer Infant Costume
You’ve seen Baby Groot and we are all exhausted with Baby Yoda but what about Baby Slimer? Better yet, Slimer Baby? I don’t know how many times I said “He slimed me.” when my son was a baby without even trying to quote Ghostbusters. This will make your cute little coconut even cuter.
Ghostbusters Women’s Jumpsuit Costume
Years ago the mere mention of a female Ghostbuster would throw the internet into a tizzy, but these days…it probably still will. I welcome Ghostbusters of all genders, the magic of the franchise is that anybody can be a Ghostbuster you just need the tools and the talent.
Take advantage of these deals before the EPA shuts them down. Happy Ghostbusters Day!
