Hasbro sent out this amazing page-a-day Star Wars calendar to help us countdown to the release of new Star Wars: The Force Awakens product on “Force Friday” on September 4th.

Today we are a mere 23 days away from Force Friday and the toys of the day is a classic Kenner vehicle – The Y-Wing fighter.   The ship is a older, clunkier fighter, but still has an elegant design.   For those of us old enough to have played the X-Wing LucasArts computer game you know the Y-wing came in handy, it was slow, but she could take some shots.   Kenner really knocked it out of the park on this one.  It’s just a shame we had to wait 2 more movies before we got her.  But better late than never.
