Microsoft has confirmed the Game Pass removals for the first half of January 2024, and there are five titles exiting the catalog, including Grand Theft Auto V. This was previously reported and now it's confirmed. Rockstar's popular open-world game leaves the catalog on January 5. The game has been added to and removed from the Game Pass library on multiple occasions, dating back to its original arrival into the subscription catalog 2020. Take-Two, the company that owns Rockstar and the GTA series, has said it has issues with the subscription model but will still bring games to services like Game Pass on a case-by-case basis.
