Horizon Forbidden West is the latest game from PlayStation to leap to PC, and ahead of its arrival on March 21, Sony has detailed the kind of hardware you'll need to run the game. A visually impressive game on PS5 when it launched in 2022, the PC version features a wide selection of customization options and other graphical settings to tweak like textures, level of detail, shadows, water, terrain, and more. The game supports NVIDIA DLASS 3 upscaling and frame generation, as well as other performance-enhancing technologies such as AMD FSR and Intel XeSS, so modern GPUs can help you get maximum visual bang for your buck. This PC port is being handled by Sony's specialist studio, Nixxes Software, and the studio says it has worked to ensure the game is capable of running on a wide variety of PC hardware and on handheld gaming PCs. To get the bare minimum 720p and 30fps experience on very low settings, a 1650 Nvidia GPU or Radeon RX 5500XT should be sufficient, while running the game at a resolution of 4K and at 60fps on very high settings will require a high-end processor and an Nvidia RTX 4080 GPU. No matter which preset you go for, Horizon Forbidden West's storage requirements are the same. You'll need to have an SSD installed and 150GB of free space on it for Aloy's adventure, and for memory, a minimum of 16GB of RAM. Continue Reading at GameSpot
