Destiny 2's annual Festival of the Lost event for 2024 is now live, and while it's a lot like a simplified version of what we saw last year, there are several noticeable wrinkles and new rewards. Arguably the most notable of these is a new opportunity to earn the Superblack shader, a beloved option from the first game that was briefly available earlier this year as part of the Into the Light update. Here's how to unlock Superblack if you missed it.

How to get Superblack

Superblack is available by completing the Ghost Writer event challenge during Festival of the Lost 2024. This challenge includes completing the other 15 event challenges--basically, you'll need to grind your way through the entire event, which is something you may have done anyway.
