The “Icons of Darkness” collection is the world’s largest of its time. This limited showing is only a preview of what Correll, Samaha and Markoff are planning. In February 2022, IOD will become the Sci-Fi, Fantasy and Horror Hall of Fame… the world’s first bonafide headquarters for Sci-Fi, Fantasy and Horror films. Plans feature live inductee ceremonies, monthly premieres of genre related films, award shows, streaming events, tributes and in-person interviews with film-makers, and rotating exhibits of artifacts from tribute films.
The hall of fame will be housed in a 24,000 square foot space adjacent to the TCL Chinese Theater. IOD will present wall-to-wall memorabilia, experiential experiences, retail sales, games and learning opportunities. Special events facilities and “after-party” space is available to provide celebrations in a surrounding that is completely unique and 100% “Hollywood-Centric.”
The “preview exhibition” of IOD opens September 27, 2021, and runs seven days a week, ten hours a day and includes all Coronavirus safety measures: We are ensuring to follow all state and city health guidelines.
