Jason Momoa, who currently plays Aquaman in the DC cinematic universe, has expressed uncertainty about his future with the franchise. In an interview with ET, Momoa addressed speculations that Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom might mark his final stint as the King of Atlantis. "I don't necessarily want it to be the end... [but] I don't think it's really, like, a choice," Momoa said, shedding light on discussions with James Gunn and Peter Safran, the architects of DC's future film projects. The actor hinted at the duo's inclination to "start their own new thing up," casting doubts on his continued role as Aquaman. "The truth of it is, I mean, if the audience loves it, then there's a possibility," Momoa said. "[But] right now, I'm like, 'It's not looking too good.'
